To begin: Wow. Like damn. The first time I went to this trailer/ drive in joint, I was sure that I wouldn't return. Because how could a trailer serve good food? Holy f*** was I wrong. I took the first bite of my bacon combo with mild sauce and instantly had a full body orgasm. I shook with pleasure. I vibrated with joy. Ever since that moment, my body craves the feeling of the bacon combo. It aches for the taste. Do I recommend it? F*** yeah I do. Will I eat there again? I already f***ing did. Today.

Each time we have gone to Orlando's it has been a positive experience and the food has been good. The small burritos are not small and the larges are huge.

Love this place, best Mexican food in town. The call ahead drive through window works really well for me. They need a full on restaurant here, I would go all the time.

I've been wanting to try this place since they opened. Finally worked out that I was in the area and super hungry. I ordered the large Carney Asada burrito thinking that I could eat half now and half midway through the afternoon. It was large but not as large as I expected for 10 bucks. And that's 10 bucks without a drink. The flavor was good. It was hot and flavorful. But for a ten spot I could have gone to Qudoba and had a drink and a seat, and a smiling face serving me. I ended up eating this in the truck on my way to the next job. The girl that took my order was all Business, and couldn't wait to get the window shut because it was cold outside. Then when I got my order they opened the window, called my name, and passed the burrito out without a word. Then slammed the window shut! No offer of condiments or salsa or napkins or " have a nice day". Nothing! There are a lot of Mexican food places in this area so I think I will take my lunch money down the road.

Great food. Great flavor. Finally someone who know how to cook. Price for the food was great; now portions are smaller and cost the same.

First visit was awesome. Stopped by on our way out of town. Great food and huge portions so we decided we had to go back. Second visit we were again pleased with the flavor and portion size however, the food was cold! We got there about five minutes before closing time (3:00pm) as they were cleaning up for the day so that was probably the reason. Will give it another try and if the food is hot they'll get a five!

I had a pretty negative experience here. On my quest to find the best tacos in Coeur d'Alene, I thought I would give Orlando's a try after hearing pretty good reviews about their breakfast burritos. I ordered the Salsa Verde Pork tacos on hard shells, sounds delicious. Would have been awesome if they came on hard shells like I ordered, not soft shell, and if I didn't have to pick black olives off of them. Who puts black olives on tacos. Good flavor aside from that though. Not sure if I will go back after my experience the the employees.

Finally a place that actually has a REAL hot sauce! Ordered my Combo Supreme Breakfast burrito with habenero sauce....WOW! Don't think I've ever had a hot sauce from a food establishment that made my eyeballs sweat! if you like heat like I do, you have to give it a try!

How do you ruin a Bean and Cheese Burrito?? Let me tell you.. Orlandos knows how. I had never been there before but, always saw great reviews. So my son today for his 5th bday asked to go. So My parents and I decided to try. My stomach and bathroom are not happy that I did now. To begin with, the employees were extremely rude. She was too busy checking out the construction workers in line behind us, then to make sure our orders were correct. Then acted like I was an idiot for asking her about an item on her menu. She was kinda snarky too. Was also, rude to my mother when she had ordered. First, My mother had ordered two carnitas burritos. One hot, one mild. I then ordered a half order of nachos for the birthday boy and a bean and cheese burrito for myself. When my moms order came up it was all but thrown out the window to her in a bag by the guy, I'm assuming is Orlando, and he not once asked if she needed anything else. Just slammed the window after. I had asked for my sons Jarrito and the employee told me I'd get it at the other window. Well I waited 10 min. Then my mother asked her for it. She got mad grabbed one, popped the top and handed it to me. It was not the right flavor I had ordered and when I told her, she shrugged her shoulders and closed the window. Thank god my son is polite and didn't say a word. When my order came up she handed it to me. I asked If I could get a bag for them as we wanted it to go. She said she didn't think she had a bag for it all to fit in. It was a half order of nachos and a burrito. A bag that won't fit?? Well she managed with a lot of wincing and whining to muster up a bag to fit it all. We then took the food back to my mother's house. Now remember, my parents ordered the same carnitas burrito but, one was mild and one was hot. Well my mom got some sort of meat burrito with all the fixings, guacamole etc. ( pretty sure the guac. is Costco's guac. not the made from scratch as they proclaimed) My dad's burrito had some sort of shredded meat. We are assuming it was pork? were not sure. We do know they were completely different burritos. Neither of them could eat it all as they both said it was no good. My son did like his nachos. But how can you ruin nachos??? Well I shouldn't say that as, they may show me. My burrito tasted like a can of pork and beans dumped into a tortilla. I could not eat it. It was horrible. I even put it on a plate for my mom's piggy dogs. A pug and a rotty who both will do anything for food. My mom's rotty has even eaten napkins etc off the table. Hes a hoover vacuum and weighs 140 along with the pug, who's name really should be Kirby. He is about 40 lbs. So when I say these animals eat they eat, anything and everything. Well I put the plate on the floor. About 10 min later my dad went to get it and started busting up laughing. Everything on the plate had been consumed except for the BEANS!!! Not even a dog would eat it. About 4 hours later, we were all fighting for tums and the toilet. Thank god I made it home to post falls with no accidents. I will never eat there again. Due to the crappy employees and the food that a dog wouldn't consume. Save your money and go else where. I suggest El Piasa on Lincoln way across from Quiznos and a Albertsons. They are pleased to have you as a customer and their food is made fresh every morning. Good prices too. For the same price as a burrito at Orlandos you can get a burrito with good beans and rice on the side. Not canned Pork and Beans! At El Piasa.

UPDATE Last Friday I had time to venture here to grab breakfast for myself and some coworkers. I ordered three "small" (which is plenty big for the average person) Bacon Combo burritos with spicy salsa. The Bacon Combo contained eggs, beans, seasoned potatoes and of course, bacon. You have the option to have salsa at not extra charge, either mild or spicy. Each burrito was $4.50 and well worth it. I've been thinking.....no, scratch that, dreaming about Orlando's breakfast burrito since last Friday. Just for that, he deserves an extra star. Not too many places make me act like Pavlov's dog, foaming at the mouth, when a breakfast burrito is mentioned, but this place definitely does.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
